WOW!! That's about the best way to put it. I love my Onkyo HT-S7409. I spent over a year searching through reviews, websites, and stores and finally decided on this particular Onkyo product. The receiver supports 7.1 but the speaker package is a 5.1 setup which is more than enough for my application. The sound is crystal clear and has MORE than enough power to chase people from the room. Whether watching movies with big explosions, car chases, or outer space orchestrations this system can easily handle and exceed epectations. Deep booming bass, clear speech, and a THX certified reciever make this package well worth the money. I've read reviews and complaints about the provided stock speaker wire and can say that adequate amounts were provided for my particular application but you would need to purchase additional speaker wire for medium to large applications. My room is 13X14 and the provided speaker wire was sufficient. The only downside that I have, if it's an actual downside - Setup can be a bit tricky, but if you read the instructions and take your time to do it right, it's well worth the time and trouble invested. I'm not really sure it's a downside as the system is amazing and I purposely stayed away from Entry Level HTIB Systems, so I kind of set myself up for this and expected to spend some extra care in setting the system up. WELL WORTH IT!!Also, not really a downside, but the clarity and sound reproduction from the system is amazing. I'm hearing things in movies and…

Crafted for a plush, responsive ride every time you hit the road, the Saucony ProGrid™ Paramount 3 men's shoe features ProGrid™ cushioning technology, which offers maximum shock absorption on impact. It's crafted using breathable air mesh, and the XT-900® outsole ensures dependable traction.
I'm very happy with these shoes so far, I've had them for three months with no complaints. It doesn't hurt that I'm a fan of Saucony either. I tried a cheap pair of running shoes to replace my previous pair of Saucony shoes, but tossed them after I broke them in and bought this pair. I'm a casual runner that does between 10-15mi a week. I wouldn't think twice about buying them again.

The Saucony® ProGrid™ Guide 3 men's running shoe offers gentle motion control for the mild overpronator. It's crafted using breathable air mesh, with a dual-density EVA midsole in place for responsive rebound. The ProGrid™ cushioning system protects the heel by minimizing shock on impact.
These are my go-to shoes for any type of physical activity. They are comfortable, durable, and stand up well to running on a track, trail, or just a quick workout at the gym. I like the superior ventilation and light weight.

Designed to give you exactly and only what you need, the Kinvara 2 features a lower heel-to-toe ratio that's built to serve your natural stride. The sole is an ultra-lightweight, durable foam and the grooves cut into the sole (or "siping") are flat instead of curved. This provides just a shade more stability, which can really matter during the end stages of a run. The upper is a mono-filament mesh that, though incredibly light and breathable, always keeps out the dirt and stones. It's all completed with a foam heel collar for a snug performance fit. Heel ProGrid LITE Saucony's lightest version of ProGrid absorbs impact, dissipates shock and sets the foot up for a smooth transition. It's 20 percent more responsive than EVA and continues to provide great cushioning. High Abrasion EVA (EVA+) Saucony's extremely lightweight grade of EVA with cushioning and durability. XT-900 XT-900 is a carbon rubber outsole material that offers exceptional traction properties without sacrificing…
I use this shoe for running distances over 10 mi... I run shorter distances in vibrams. These shoes have a very light, sock like upper thats very breathable, and simple cushioning in the sole. They have a wide toe box, so your foot feels unrestricted. I get a little knee pain when I'm running longer runs (20 mi) but I'm not sure if more cushioning would help that or not.

This is my 2nd pair. My step dad has this kind too. We both like the cushion the Guides offer. I use these for every day and for running in after school sports.

Excellent neutral training shoe. Provides a flexible cushioned ride from heel to toe.
I love these shoes. I run between 15-20miles a week and could not be happier with the performance of these shoes. I've been running for 4 years now and run for fitness.

I have been searching a while for good running shoe since New Balance discontinued my favorite style. I've been through both New Balance and Brooks, but have found these to be the best for me. I have the tendency to walk and run with my feet pointed out, so I need a little stabilization when I run. I have gotten sore shins from other shoes, but not this one. After I broke them in, I've done a 5-mi road run, a 2-mi terrain run with decent incline and decline, and a 5-mi stadium run-No problems or pain yet. I find this particular shoe provides the support I need under my arch, the toe end is narrow, and my heel feels cupped. I'm confident, my feet don't have much freedom to move while I run, but just enough room to expand as I run. Additionally, they're light-weight and they breathe well. They run at least $100.00 in stores-Amazon offers them for at least $20 less.

First - there are a lot of complaints about the mesh getting wrecked too early. I see how that can happen, as they extend the mesh almost all the way to the front rubber. These shoes would be MUCH more durable if they put more leather between the mesh and the front rubber. NOT a problem for me at this point (116 miles logged on them), but I can see the design flaw.Now...the BIG issues: I'm a mild-moderate overpronator, and this shoe is not helping me at all. I have EXTENSIVE wear on the outer edge. My last pair of shoes were Puma Vectana 2's and I think I'm going back to them.Next big issue is forefoot cushioning. I run almost 100% on my forefoot - very little heel strike. The balls of my feet are falling apart with these shoes. Any run over 5 miles is painful for me. NOT GOOD for a man who's training for a marathon.So...bottom line: if you're an overall neutral runner and you do shorter (5 mi and under) training runs, you'll like these (unless the mesh falls apart). I just picked the wrong shoe. I guess that's what I get for being cheap and not going to the running store.

Make your escape in the Saucony® ProGrid™ Xodus 2.0 women's trail shoe. The SSL EVA midsole maximizes rebound while minimizing weight, and ProGrid™ technology protects the heel on impact. An XT-900® outsole guarantees tremendous traction on tricky surfaces.
These shoes look exactly as advertised and are adorable. The tread is amazing and even while hiking over iced over trails I found myself jogging with ease. The laces are sturdy and are a great trail shoe. As a runner shoes are my #1 and I am thoroughly satisfied. The shipping and packaging were fine, they arrived shortly after I ordered them.

Run the path less taken in the Saucony Women's Progrid Guide TR4 Running Shoes. A more rugged version of Saucony's most popular light stability shoe, the TR4 opens with a durable mesh and synthetic upper with Hydrator Collar Lining, a fabric that provides superior next-to-skin comfort and wicking, and an exclusive open cell foam sockliner. Next comes the dual density Impulse EVA midsole featuring ProGrid heel impact technology, and SRC forefoot cushioning. Both aid in dissipating shock and setting the foot up for a smooth transition. A differing density HRC Strobel Board also helps with cushioning. The outsole is made with XT-900 carbon rubber, and sports an EBO (External Bedrock Outsole) to protect your foot from sharp rocks, stones and other trail debris. If you're a mild overpronator looking for a change of scenery, lace up the Progrid Guide TR4 Running Shoes for women from Saucony.
I have a few pairs of Saucony, and I have to say these are my go to shoes. I love the support and the look of this shoe. And because they have so many wonderful color in the shoes, grey, purple, and a bit of green and black, they will go with any thing I have on that day. Can't say it enough I love these shoes.

In 2007, Nike tried to pull a fast one on us to make space for its Nike+ pod. It split the legendary single 'air' cushion that ran the entire length of the classic Air Pegasus into two cushions to make space for the transponder unit, thereby fundamentally changing the structure of the shoe (it took me ages to find this out). I am a marathon and ultra marathon runner and the change to one of my favorite shoes of all time was not lost on my feet and forced me to look elsewhere for another shoe. The Progrid Triumph came to my rescue as a neutral well-cushioned shoe in which I could run hundreds and hundreds of miles comfortably. All was well and I went through numerous pairs of Triumphs happy as a lark. That is, until the Triumph 7 came along. I bought the shoe thinking I knew exactly what I was getting, but it wasn't two runs before I knew I simply couldn't use the shoe for any serious distances. And this is not a cheap exercise to buy a high-end shoe and find you can't use it. Once again, I went looking elsewhere for a well-cushioned shoe and found what I was looking for in the Asics Gel Nimbus 12. Another beautiful shoe to run serious miles in. After recently reading a review of the Triumph 8 and seeing similar views of the 7, I decided to give it one more shot as I needed a replacement pair. I just received the shoes and went for a run today. The Triumph 8 has now shot back to the top of my favorite shoe list already and beats even my beloved Asics. In my opinion, it's back…

Designed for the mild overpronator, the Saucony(r) ProGrid(tm) Guide 2 men's running shoe offers light stability and comfortable support. The H.R.C. Strobel Board provides dependable shock absorption, while a dual-density EVA midsole guarantees durability and maximum rebound.
Having been an runner as a teen, I thought it would be easy to resume running in my early forties. I have extremely high arches and had always used a neutral-cushioned shoe. Now, those shoes cause me injury and pain. It turns out that, although I underpronate, my foot pronates considerably at the moment of impact with the ground because of my weight. Heavier runners need a stability shoe, but finding shoes for heavy runners with high arches is like finding Wonka's Golden Ticket. The Saucony Men's ProGrid Guide 2 running shoe has been my dearest running mate. No more strains, pulls or pain. The ProGrid Guide 2 provides excellent stability, and just enough arch support to compensate for the impact pronation. Good cushion on the heels, and my narrow feet fit comfortably and snug in the shoes. The toe box has ample space and the laces hug the top of my feet comfortably. A little stiff, right out of the box, but once worn in, I've been a running fool! Gotta get a couple more pair, before they're discontinued.

first say that the Amazon service was incredible, send this package to the Christmas season in two days is really impressive. The package and its contents arrive in perfect condition. Now go into the question, shoes are very comfortable, good arch support, compared to other shoes of this brand forefoot area felt a bit tight, but nothing out of the ordinary in a new shoe. I ran with them about 9 miles and are great I can not imagine when they are more adjusted to my feet, maybe 30 miles more write a new update. In short if you are an athlete of normal weight, with medium or high arched feet, with mild/moderate pronation problems this can be an excellent training shoe.

Very happy with purchase. I don't run but I buy running shoes for walking and working out because a salesperson said that running shoes are lighter. Was a little worried about ordering online but because I already have a Hurricane XI, took a chance and am happy. I bought a size M and it fits snug but I prefer shoes that are a little snug than loose so this works for me. It's very light; wore the XI on a trip to the Rockies for 13 days and no problem. Hope thisl XIII works out well on an upcoming trip also. The XIII feels a little bulkier, but not sure if its because its new. Bought the XI from a running shoe store locally and paid almost twice the amount a year and a half ago. Can't go wrong with the price on Amazon.
